I love creating cards for friends

I combined images from the retiring Daisy Delight and continuing Daisy Lane stamp sets. The colors of this card remind me of Margarita Daisies. I absolutely love creating cards for friends and family. It relaxes me and it makes them smile when they get happy mail!

To create this card I used Whisper White Thick and Shaded Spruce cardstock, the retiring Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder (this is one of my favorite embossing folders and I am sad it is leaving), Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Daisy Punch, 1/2” Circle Punch, the flower center from the retiring Daisy Delight Photopolymer Stamp Set, the friend from continuing Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set, retired Leaf Punch (that is no longer available), retiring Pattern Party Decorative Masks, Sponge Brayers, and Daffodil Delight and Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin’ Pads. And since no project is complete without adhesive, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For visual dimension I pinched the leaves of the Daisy punched flowers, layering three of them offset to add fullness. This is a favorite technique of mine. Here’s an up close view of that flower.

I am guilty of making lots of cards but not mailing as many as I’d like. However, this card went in the mail yesterday. Yay!!! I am certain my friend will be thrilled when she receives it because I truly sent love in an envelope.
